CASE STUDY

St Faith’s School Cambridge

When we were approached by St Faith’s School to update the staffroom, the team at TaskSpace jumped at the opportunity. Very often, in the education sector, we all worry so much about the student experience, that it’s easy to overlook the needs of the team that actually make it all happen. St Faith’s however, clearly understand how important it is to give the teaching staff a relaxing, well-designed sanctuary in which to unwind, make plans and collaborate with other teachers.

After an initial consultation with the school, our design team set to work, with the aim of transforming a tired looking seating area into a complete interior design that combines comfortable seating, integrated storage, and a contemporary, practical kitchen area.

Part of the brief was to bring the school’s corporate identity into the fabric of the design scheme, which we achieved by using St Faith’s bright, pillar box red throughout the space. The school added further details themselves, including inversed, frosted school crest decals on each of the windows. The result is a modern, contemporary space that the teaching team actively look forward to spending time in.

The new staff room was completed in true TaskSpace style, on time and on budget. The teaching team at St Faith’s are delighted with the completed design, as are we.
