Transforming Learning & Staff Environments at St Margaret’s School
Project Brief
Sarum Hall School carried out a major refurbishment of the classroom spaces and a complete redesign of its STEAM department. The project upgraded all of the first-floor teaching spaces to create a consistent, modern learning environment. Its classrooms became brighter, more functional, and flexible, while the STEAM department was rebuilt to enable hands-on, cross-disciplinary learning.
Purpose
Driven by the school’s leadership and governors as part of a strategic improvement plan, the project addressed:
- Outdated classrooms that no longer supported modern curriculum delivery
- A STEAM department lacking flexibility and modern resources
- The need for inspiring environments that matched academic standards
- The goal of enhancing pupil experience, teaching quality, and the school’s market position
