Transforming Learning & Staff Environments at St Margaret’s School
Project Brief
TaskSpace worked in partnership with Rugby School and its prep school, Bilton Grange, to deliver a series of transformative projects that reimagined how students learn, collaborate, and connect.
The spaces, including a Modern Sixth Form Hub, Library and Learning Spaces were designed to encourage curiosity and exploration, while providing the flexibility required for both individual study and group collaboration.
Purpose
Both schools recognised the need to invest in environments that better reflected their educational ambitions. At Rugby School, leadership identified that existing Sixth Form provision was falling short of supporting the independence and collaboration required for pupils preparing for higher education. At Bilton Grange, the library and adjacent spaces were not inspiring pupils to engage fully with independent learning
By aligning the two projects, the schools ensured that students’ experiences were consistently enriched throughout their educational journey - from prep through to Sixth Form.
Key Outcomes
Together, these projects demonstrate a shared vision across Rugby Schools: creating purposeful, inspiring environments that nurture curiosity, independence, and achievement at every stage of a student’s education.
