Campus Transformation – Turning Vision into Reality
Project Brief
ACS International Schools partnered with TaskSpace to enhance key learning environments across its UK campuses — Egham, Hillingdon and Cobham — supporting over 2,400 students from 70+ nationalities.
At ACS Egham, the STEM department was redesigned to introduce three specialist lab types — heavy, light and dynamic — creating a more flexible and practical science environment.
At ACS Hillingdon, the Nursery and Pre-Prep School spaces were transformed into calm, well-structured settings for early years learning, incorporating Learnstor teaching walls to improve functionality.
At Cobham, we supported the development of a new chemistry department within an existing building.
Purpose
School leadership identified that several teaching spaces no longer reflected the way learning was being delivered.
The STEM labs at Egham were restrictive and outdated, limiting flexibility and hands-on engagement. At Hillingdon, early years environments required a more intuitive layout to better support independence, wellbeing and day-to-day classroom routines.
The goal was to create spaces that actively support modern teaching methods while aligning with ACS’s academic standards and international outlook.
Key Outcomes
The new STEM facilities at Egham now enable adaptable teaching and greater student engagement.
At Hillingdon, early years pupils benefit from welcoming, organised classrooms designed around comfort and accessibility.
Across the campuses, the redesigned spaces strengthen curriculum delivery and enhance the overall student and staff experience.
