When faced with the prospect of relocating their existing library, Hazelwood Preparatory School asked TaskSpace to design an environment that departed from the conventional library format whilst remaining focused on traditional books and reading.

This was achieved through a number of methods:

• Multiple soft-seating areas throughout the area
• Breaking up the traditional lines with feature curved bookshelves and seating
• Feature ZOG workstation for focused study

Multiple levels were included throughout the area to encourage students to collaborate and take ownership of their learning.

Upon completion, the finished space has become an integral part of day-to-day life at the school.
