Carlton Packaging is one of the UK’s and Europe’s leading e-commerce packaging suppliers. The company’s rapid growth had created the need for a change in premises, and after surveying several sites, Carlton had settled on premises that while providing plenty of factory space, did not have an appropriate amount of office. TaskSpace was engaged to convert some of the industrial space into brand new offices, as well as fitting out the rest of the building with a new design scheme.

The TaskSpace design team developed a warm, natural colour palette with organic finishes including wood and metal textures. We integrated highly personalised office spaces, collaboration areas and team zones in order to help the team at Carlton develop a new, agile working style which is much more in sync with the company culture.

The fit out was carried out over an 8 week period, which although tight, was completed on time and on budget. This included the conversion of industrial factory space into fully fitted, working office space.

The inclusion of TaskPods means that team members have protected quiet spaces for work that requires deep concentration or to hold private meetings. The finished design scheme has genuine WOW factor and can’t fail to impress the existing team, new members of staff and visitors that come to the new premises.
